Oregon New Sanctuary Movement presents:

What’s at Stake?

Immigration & the 2008 Elections

Sunday October 26th
6:30 - 8:30pm
Havurah Shalom, 825 NW 18th Ave, Portland, OR

This interactive forum is designed especially for members of Portland’s diverse faith communities.  Together we’ll analyze the potential impacts of Ballot Measure 58, the widespread implications of the Columbia County anti-immigrant ballot initiatives, candidates’ positions on immigration issues and more.

We’ll hear the voices and stories of people whose lives will be directly affected by the choices we make on our ballots this fall – and by the decisions on immigration policies that elected officials will face at city, state and national levels.

Light refreshments & simultaneous interpretation in Spanish will be provided.
